Incoming Grade 7 Summer Reading
 

Dear Parents/Guardians;

 

            This summer the incoming seventh graders are required to read three books before the beginning of the new school year.  One selection is teacher mandated while the other two are selected by the student.

            All students must read The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton.  We will review the book in class in the first weeks of school and a major test on the book will be given during the week of September 24.  No book report is required for this book.

            Students may choose two (2) other books from the given book list.  A book report for each of these books is due on Monday, September 10. Guidelines/instructions for the book reports are attached.

            Students may choose two (2) other books from the given book list.  A book report for each of these books is due on Monday, September 11. Guidelines/instructions for the book reports are attached.
